My Summer Favorites and More! (2)
Isn’t summer great?! I must say that some of my fondest childhood memories are during the summer time! Maybe because school was out, the weather was warm, lots of family gatherings and outdoor activities – like the yearly Italian Feasts my elementary school always held – good old Our Lady of Victory in Mt. Vernon, NY. Going to Tibbitts Brook Pool in Yonkers, NY and to Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle, NY. And, one of my most FAVORITE memories is going to the movies to watch JAWS. I was 10 years old and that movie STILL sends chills up my spine! I LOVE the summer!

GETTING TO KNOW ME
As a full time REALTOR in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in NEW YORK – and Fairfield and parts of Litchfield counties in CONNECTICUT , I am very pleased to have the opportunity to share my passions on REAL ESTATE, FAMILY, PETS, anything and everything in and around a HOME – including my COOKING, MOVIES, MUSIC and more!
I have been married for 23 years to my wonderful husband Joe. We have 5 children – Melissa, David, Amanda, Sara and Jonathan. After waiting anxiously – for almost 17 years, being home with my kids for 10 and a Nursery school teacher for 7 years – I FINALLY became a Licensed Realtor – first in Connecticut - where my family and I live – and then in New York – where my office, Century 21 V.J.F. Realty is located.
I was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, New York. My parents, who came over from Portugal, were extremely hard working – with even stronger ethics on being good to everyone – everywhere – period! “Faz bem, nao olhes a quem.” This has been instilled in me all my life, which has made me the mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and REALTOR I am today. Hey Sis –
I had loads of fun – killing that GINORMOUS spider while yelling and screaming in front of a sellers house, busting the zipper on my skirt and having to show the remaining homes with my listing papers covering my bloomers and attempting to view the last 2 homes in complete darkness!
It’s a good thing I LOVE MY JOB!!! – and my SISTER!!!
