My Life as a Realtor ~

Day 198:

Back to work – set up appointments for rental/condo showings in New Milford and Danbury for Saturday.

After working for a few hours, it was time to pick up Amanda at school after Theatre practice. When I got into the car, Moe was relaxing on the hood and as I pulled out, he didn’t want to budge!

When I picked up Amanda at the New Fairfield High School, the sun had just gone done…

and I’ll have to be back here tomorrow at 6am with Amanda again – Ugh!

Went into the office today, then my mother and I went and had lunch – Chinese…

We then went into Danbury so ma could shop a bit…

Then picked up a few more pellets…

and then back home, back to work!

My Life as a Realtor ~

Day 196:

Today it was back to Bridgeport, CT so that Melissa could show proof that she had insurance during the time of her accident – since the lovely police officer that showed up after Melissa skidded during a nor’easter and her tire ended up under her car!! - decided to give her a ticket! So, after the aggravation, time and energy spent worrying, Melissa received no fine and the ticket dismissed. The one and only good thing that came out of this, is the time we spent together driving in the car.

Then, back home to work – work – work – … So glad I LOVE what I do! Sometimes, while I drive around during errands or appointments, I’ll snap pictures. Here is a pic of kids skating on Ball Pond in New Fairfield…

GETTING TO KNOW ME

As a full time REALTOR in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in NEW YORK – and Fairfield and parts of Litchfield counties in CONNECTICUT , I am very pleased to have the opportunity to share my passions on REAL ESTATE, FAMILY, PETS, anything and everything in and around a HOME – including COOKING, MOVIES, MUSIC and more!

I have been married for 25+ years to my wonderful husband Joe. We have 5 children – Melissa, David, Amanda, Sara and Jonathan. After waiting anxiously – for almost 17 years, being home with my kids for 10 and a Nursery school teacher for 7 years – I FINALLY became a Licensed Realtor – first in Connecticut - where my family and I live – and then in New York – where my office, Century 21 V.J.F. Realty is located.

I was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, New York. My parents, who came to the US from Portugal, were extremely hard working – with even stronger ethics on being good to everyone – everywhere – period! “Faz bem, nao olhes a quem.” This has been instilled in me all my life, which has made me the mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and the REALTOR I am today.
