Thanksgiving Day Pie – I love pie on Thanksgiving Day – or any day. My favorite is Pumpkin and 2nd would be Apple – and eating them warm is just Mmm Mmm Good!

Up To My Elbows in Apples…
It seems that I’m up to my elbows in apples. This is apple time of the year and with the weather getting cooler, it’s a perfect combination to bake me some apples desserts!
I’ve been trying all different recipes, here was one of our favorite – German Apple Cake – Yum! I may bake this delight for Thanksgiving….

This time tomorrow, our home will be filled with family, coming over to celebrate New Years Eve for the 23 year!
My mom and I were busy with cleaning and baking – a Ricotta Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Flan, and a Ham/Zucchini/Prosciutto Pie – YUM, YUM! All while Tisha slept…
Tomorrow will be the real heavy cooking day. For today, we did just a few things because we know that tomorrow will be crazy! Remi is already feeling the house get a bit chaotic. Today he decided to chew one of the chairs and then fell asleep on it – Amanda noticed and took this pic…
With work, I divided up my time – a little in the morning – afternoon – and evening. Ma and I did take a little break and watched “Four Christmases” with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn.

GETTING TO KNOW ME
As a full time REALTOR in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties in NEW YORK – and Fairfield and parts of Litchfield counties in CONNECTICUT , I am very pleased to have the opportunity to share my passions on REAL ESTATE, FAMILY, PETS, anything and everything in and around a HOME – including COOKING, MOVIES, MUSIC and more!
I have been married for 25+ years to my wonderful husband Joe. We have 5 children – Melissa, David, Amanda, Sara and Jonathan. After waiting anxiously – for almost 17 years, being home with my kids for 10 and a Nursery school teacher for 7 years – I FINALLY became a Licensed Realtor – first in Connecticut - where my family and I live – and then in New York – where my office, Century 21 V.J.F. Realty is located.
I was born and raised in Mt. Vernon, New York. My parents, who came to the US from Portugal, were extremely hard working – with even stronger ethics on being good to everyone – everywhere – period! “Faz bem, nao olhes a quem.” This has been instilled in me all my life, which has made me the mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and the REALTOR I am today.
