So, from April 8th – Day 261 – until today – June 28th – Day 343 – I have had many appointments – family functions – Happy moments and not so happy moments – classes, meetings and oogles of family time!

Then off to do some errands and get ready for my 2nd appointment for the day in Thornwood NY.  I arrived home at 9:55pm – just in the nick of time to see the American Idol results!

Day 257:

Easter Sunday!  We went down to my husband’s brother house in Mt.Vernon NY…

I spent the entire drive down texting and e-mailing clients – wishing them a Happy Easter!

We ate, and ate, and ate!

Day 256:

Saturday….  my first appointment was over in Heritage Hills in Somers NY …

My 2nd appointment was showing a few homes in Katonah and North Salem NY.

Our 1st home had a striking red door and interesting door knocker…

My final, evening appointment was back with my client from yesterday to the new Rivington complex in Danbury CT…

My client brought her husband along and they were so sweet together. 

Then, it was back to mommy mode – food shopping and dinner was on my mind.  So, I stopped at Shaw’s at 7:30 at night to find almost nothing!  I had lot’s to pick from at home, but was hoping to pick something up that was quick to make.  Unfortunately, Shaw’s is closing   and Stop & Shop in coming to New Fairfield!   In the end, I made a very difficult decision and bought Chinese Food for dinner… he – he!

Appointment day today in Brewster, NY – my client did like one listing very much and submitted an offer.  So, today was a good day! Actually, a great day… except for the rain!

Thursday – Ma is leaving today for Portugal…  a difficult day for all.   Here are a few pics of Portugal when Hubby – Joe – went to this past summer…

Wednesday – last full day that my mom will be here before leaving for Portugal. 

We went out to lunch and grocery shopping at A&P…

Day 245:

Out and about today with my mom – she is leaving on Thursday to go back to Portugal and I am very sad to see her go – so… I kept myself busy with work…

Day 244:

Monday – thankfully I have internet service – it had been down from Saturday morning until Sunday evening!  I am also thankful for this beautiful weather we have been having.  Ma and I went about on our errands.  At the top of our list is always food shopping – so off to A&P in Danbury we went!

Day 243:

Appointment today – back to the office to do some work – then met with my clients in New Fairfield to view many lovely homes – a few on Ball Pond and Candlewood Lake – and what a wonderful day it was to view homes with water views!

My evening appointment was canceled, so it was back home for a wonderful dinner!

Day 242:

Saturday – appointment day in Danbury.  Stopped at the office to meet with my clients.  We viewed a few new listings and 2 listings for the 2nd time.  One of their favorites was near Richter Park Golf Course…

Afterwards, I went back to the office to get ready for tomorrow’s appointments.  After dinner, Melissa, Sara and I went to see Amanda in the The Music Man at the New Fairfield High School…

It was an awesome show and we are so proud of Amanda!

Day 241:

Friday - Show day for Amanda at the New Fairfield High School!

For me, it was work – work – work!  Much to do to get ready for another busy weekend!

Tonight was also Bunco night for me – it was at my sister’s house, so Ma came along to play and won $10!  She had a blast and didn’t complain she was tired once!  I’m so proud of her  

Day 239:

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!!

Joe and I started dating on St. Patrick’s Day – 26 years ago – Whew!  How time flies – really!

Today, I went nowhere and it felt good.  I was able to remain focused on my work and sometimes I can’t believe how many hours I can spend on the computer without taking a bathroom break! 

We had another warm – Spring like day today.  Here is a picture of my tulips blooming…

Day 238:

Lot’s of work to do again today  and I’m happy to report that the rain and clouds are gone and it is an absolute gorgeous day!!  Spring isn’t until Saturday, although it has arrived today – Yeah!

As I made my way to the office, I realized quickly that I was over dressed.  This happens every Spring -  I’m afraid of being cold, so I still wear turtle necks and coats and sweat my buns off!

After going to the office, I stopped at A&P in Brewster – yes, FOOD SHOPPING AGAIN!

When I arrived home, my mom and David had made a wonderful dinner – our very 1st barbecue of the season – and – we even ate outside…

Day 237:

It’s Monday – a day to catch up on work since I was out all weekend showing homes – how wonderful!

Even though I made a quick trip to the A&P in Brewster yesterday in-between appointments, I had to go grocery shopping again today – gosh, if I only had the past 10 years of what I’ve spent on food – I’d be rich! 

So, a quick trip to Shaws – and to buy pellets – gas up David’s car – back home and back to work until it was time to deliver Amanda’s dinner at school while she continues with theatre practice for the big show this coming weekend at New Fairfield High School!

Day 236:

My first appointment was in my hometown – New Fairfield CT.  We viewed a total of 6 homes…

Day 235:

Rain, rain go away…

A very rainy Saturday as I met with new clients in Brewster NY.  We viewed a total of 5 homes and I was soaked as I made my way to the office to wait for appointment #2 – which happen to be with a very good friend of mine.  We viewed 3 homes and had a ball – wet and all!

Day 234:

Yahoo – everyone knows I love my Fridays!  Today, I got a kick out of watching Remi watching Tisha.  First, he noticed her near the couch…

Then he watched her carefully going around the couch…

and finally, after he whined and made noise loud enough so that she would look up at him…

Remi loves Tisha so very much – she, on the other hand, has a kind of love for him that comes and goes – it’s only when she feels like it.  She’s tiny, but she is the boss and can be feisty if he pushes her!

Then, Ma and I went to Shaws for some grocery shopping and recycling…

Day 233:

It is Thursday and once again – busy, busy – can’t seem to catch up – but loving every single minute of being a Realtor.  I have a busy weekend coming up and I am looking forward to it!  Especially since I will be meeting new clients.

Today, Ma and I took a trip to Brookfield, CT - to my brother’s house. 

I love that this warmer weather is bringing more little critters out and about.  At home, we always make sure to have our bird feeders filled – especially in the winter months.  The pic above is one of my brothers bird houses.

This bird feeder is the most used of all of our birds - I wonder if it is the house shape – since our other feeders are round and boxy shaped – Hmm??

After a quick visit with my sister-n-law and the kids, Ma and I stopped at Walmart…

Then back home and back to work until it was time to drop off dinner again for Amanda…

And once again, back home and back to work!

Day 232:

I can’t believe it’s already Wednesday – aka Garbage Day!  Ma – along with the pups - helped me bring all the garbage and recycling down.  You could imagine how much rubbish a family of 7 + Ma = 8 can make!

Then it was work, work, work and a quick trip to Shaws – and yes, you can also imagine how much food a family of 8 can consume!

Day 230:

It’s Monday – and Real Estate is getting busier – more inquires – more hours working – and I NOT complaining!

After doing some work – it was time to head to New Fairfield Middle School for a Parent-Teacher conference for my youngest – Jonathan…
