Snow, Snow and More Snow!
Outside of my home, it is a white, winter wonderland. It is a pretty site, until you have to shovel and drive in it! Although, our pups seem to love it…

Day 222:
Sunday – new client today!
We viewed many homes in Ridgefield CT and a few in Danbury CT and enjoyed having to truck through the snow of the homes that had not yet been plowed!
We ended the day with me dropping them off at Starbuck’s in New Fairfield CT.

Day 221:
Saturday! We’re still cleaning up snow and longing for Spring….
Here is Remi running down the driveway…
and running back…
Remi loves the snow – and I don’t! I prefer to stay indoors, toasty warm and working all day!
More Snow!

Day 220:
Friday and the storm came and it is a doozy!
Remi loved playing in this cold – white stuff!
Amanda made her famous German Apple Pancake. I couldn’t resist and had to take a bite before snapping a pic...
It was a nice day to work from home since I couldn’t go out because of the storm! Hopefully it will be fine to go out tomorrow since I may have an appointment with new clients!

More SNOW in New Fairfield, CT!
The kids started their week back to school with a 2 hour delay. Remi just loves the snow – here he followed Jonathan to the end of our driveway to wait for the school bus…
It snowed the entire day…
It became a White Winter Wonderland – Here is a view of our back yard from the dinning room window…
I was happy to be working from home – until it was time to go out – a trip to Shaw’s for some groceries and into Danbury for some pellets!

The day after the Big snow storm – well, it really was bad compared to areas in New York and New Jersey. Here is a photo of our driveway in the morning when I let Remi and Tisha out to do their business…
I enjoyed the entire day working from home – cleaning and watching movies.

Day 203:
Snow ~ Snow ~ Snow! Big snow storm hit New Jersey and the tri-state area in New York. Here in New Fairfield, Connecticut – we didn’t get the foot of snow like other areas did – and I am thankful we didn’t!
David plowing the driveway while Remi enjoyed watching
Ma made soup, while I accomplished a ton of work on-line. Here is Remi watching while I snap photos of the snow…

Day 203:
Kids have half a day of school and we are expecting a big snow storm!
After working all morning, Ma and I went to Macy’s…
Then a quick stop at JC Penney’s. Then, back home and back to work, dinner and with fear that the anticipated storm will bring havoc, I went to Shaw’s to stock up on a few items…
By 10pm, the snow had started.

Thursday….
Worked from home – Remi loves following me around. Here, he beat me to the bottom of the steps…
Remi was staring at the snow – an unexpected storm had blown in and dumped a few inches…
Schools were dissmissed early and after the snow ended, Ma and I went to Macy’s to return a few items in the shoe department…
Then back home to find David making dinner again – Ma and I are getting spoiled!

Day 172:
It’s a sunny – but cold – Saturday morning and I have an appointment in Brewster, NY.
My clients, which are first time home buyers, have a closing scheduled for next week and came over to the home to go over a few things with the current owners. One item on their list was to go through the plantings around the property. We walked through the snow and I could only imagine how beautiful the landscaping will be in the Spring. For today, we froze while tracking through the snow…
My Life as a Realtor – Day 168
My Life as a Realtor ~
Day 168:
It is only the beginning of winter and I am already wishing for Spring to come quickly!
Although, there are some benefits to the winter season…. snow! Today, I had a final walk-thru with my client. Making sure all was well with the home before taking over ownership. He is a first time home buyer, purchasing on his own and what a great house he is purchasing with loads of potential. During the walk-thru, which was in the evening, we noticed some foot – or more like paw prints in the snow. There were 3 different types and we tried to figure out if one belonged to a cat, maybe another to a deer and a racoon??
My client is a NYC PO – I am sure he will soon figure it out!

Day 166:
I’m still putting things away from our New Years Eve and New Years Day party. It’s Sunday, last vacation day for my younger 3. My older 2 are off from college until the end of the month.
It snowed all day long here in New Fairfield, CT…
So, we all had a lazy day Sunday… well, all except for me! I worked and cleaned, sent a few e-mails, made a few calls. Remi decided he was going to start early and help put away some of our Christmas decorations. Although his “helping” isn’t exactly helpful…
Poor Santa…

Day 160:
It snowed today – bummer – just when almost all of it was melted! Although, I must admit, the large-fluffy snowflakes were pretty…
After breakfast, my mom and I set out to Brewster, NY for errands – the liquor store, lunch and the bank…
During this time, I received e-mails regarding appointments on 2 of my listings and a call from a client who has finally sold his home in Florida – Congrats Norm and Carol!
Then, off to Danbury, CT for grocery shopping at ShopRite – Wahoo… New Years is in the air!
My Life as a Realtor – Day 152

Day 152:
It snowed! Here in New Fairfield, CT we woke up to just a few inches of white, crisp, clean and fluffy snow! Other states were hit hard – a part of Long Island had 25″ dropped on them – wow! I’ll take the few inches we received gladly.
Joe had fun cleaning up our driveway….
while I made pancakes…
with Remi watching me eagerly waiting for his…
but then he decided it was more fun watching daddy clean the snow!
After breakfast, it was back to work for me and nap time for Remi.

Day 151:
It’s a cloudy – raw day out. Snow storm was do to hit us sometime today and finally did in the evening.
Wrapped a few more gifts that my mother and I purchased after going to Macy’s where we enjoyed trying on some boots…
We were glad to be home before the snow started. For dinner, we made homemade chicken soup and pizza which kept me going while working until the wee hours.
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!
With the snow storm that has been pounding the Northeast and soon to hit New Fairfield, Connecticut ~ Make sure you have necessary supplies, keep safe and … Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

Day 141:
Difficult getting out of bed this morning – I was up late last night… again… Ha! Who am I kidding? This has been every night for almost 2 years now!! Between my Searching and Sending Listings – Promoting my Listings – my Blog – Reading and keeping up on all the news, new recipes and tips and sometimes posting on Active Rain, Zillow and Trulia – then there’s Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, You Tube and Flickr – Oh… and my 300′ish e-mails a day. You ask, When do I have time for anything else? One of my favorite words is – Multitasking! that and getting very little sleep! The rings around my eyes are proof! But, I love what I do and hope to one day, when I’m all grown up
to be a better writer.
Well enough of that – today, Wednesday – No Realtor Open House Day – Real Estate continues to be melow and that is alright since I’m also cramming in my Christmas Shopping, wrapping and decorating. I’m sure that is what most people are also doing. Although, I do have some clients that are out looking for homes. A few are looking in my home town of New Fairfield, CT. Last week, after our snow fall, we were out and they made a comment about how pretty the snow looked. I agree – here are a few photos I took today after dropping Sara off at school – these were all taken from the New Fairfield High School’s exit…

Day 140:
It Snowed! Schools were canceled here in New Fairfield, CT – by the afternoon, it was raining and the snow turned to slush. Then, in the evening – we had freezing rain - and… thunder and lightning – ??? Hugh? Joe was plowing the driveway when it started and had to wait til it passed – bizarre!
A Blanket of Snow in Our Backyard
After working for a bit, Ma and I took a trip to Shaws and to get gas – I think we made it back home in less than 40 minutes, but at least we got out of the house for a bit.
We enjoyed our dinner and a low-key evening by the fireplace.
My Life as a Realtor – Day 137
My Life as a Realtor ~
Day 137:
It’s Sunday – Appointment Day! I will be showing a few homes and land that will soon have new construction going up. Here, I was on my way to meeting with my potential buyers after a snowy night…
We viewed a few listings in different parts of New Fairfield – passing through the center of town, which is festively decorated for the holidays.
During one of the land viewings, we got to a point that it became difficult to turn around, so we had to back out. I, of course, thought I could turn around - and yes, I got stuck in the snow!
Afterwards, I came home – made dinner – and got right back to work – both for home and real estate. And I was happy to see that Jonathan’s baby lobster looking fish was out from his hiding spot and hanging out with the other fish…

Day 86:
It’s getting cold outside – so cold, it snowed today! We’ve been using our pellet stove and fireplace to keep the house warm and cozy.
I went into the office – ran some errands and couldn’t believe it was snowing in October! I am NOT ready for this – so hopefully, fall weather will be back and then we could gradually work our way into winter.
